Support Jefferson Elementary! 

Help your child be as successful at school as possible. When parents are involved in their child's school kids get better grades, have better behavior, and their confidence increases because they feel supported at home.

At Jefferson there are many opportunities for parents to be a part of the school. Volunteer in a classroom, read to a child, pass out water at the jog-a-thon, or join a school committee.

Friends of Jefferson (FoJ)

Friends of Jefferson Elementary is a non-profit organization of Jefferson parents and community members, dedicated to supporting our local school and its students through volunteerism, fundraising, and community outreach. We believe Jefferson Elementary should reflect the diverse, vibrant, and innovative character that defines the heart of North Park.

Jefferson's Exceptional Families Forum (JEFF)

Jefferson’s Exceptional Families Forum is a dedicated platform where parents of exceptional children and special education staff come together to collaborate on effective strategies, share resources, and foster a supportive community. Through open dialogue and shared insights, J.E.F.F. aims to positively impact student achievement and empower families in supporting the unique needs of exceptional learners.

Wellness Committee

Jefferson’s Wellness Committee is dedicated to fostering a healthy learning environment in which our students can thrive. We are committed to promoting physical, social and emotional well-being by implementing wellness initiatives. Through collaboration with students, parents, teachers, staff and the community, we strive to inspire lifelong healthy habits.

Site Governance Team (SGT)

Site Governance Team is the shared decision making team between staff, community and parents that set goals, to improve the quality of learning for all students. SGT is empowered to make decisions on budget, staffing and discipline among other issues that effect the school. 

School Site Council (SSC)

The School Site Council (SSC) provides oversight of the academic planning and budgeting process associated with the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) in order to meet the needs of all students. . The School Site Council is comprised of parents, community members, site administrators, teachers and other staff.
